The contractors are hard at work on the new land to extend the practice area/ range. They should be finished in early May when the seeding etc will be done and the land will be well on the way to being fully prepared for full use in the not too distant future.

If you have not been out for a look you will be impressed at how much more space we will have.

Nigel is proving to be a lucky charm for holes in one we had another one this week with Steve Kelvey holing out on the 5th so that's three already this season well done to all three of you.


 

The Captain v The Vice Captain took place last Saturday with the Captain just beating The Vice Captain by 1 point! Well done to The Captain. But the Vice Captains team won the overall. 

The winners for the The Captains team were Matthew Goulding & Brian Geeson on a count back with 42pts. The winners for the Vice Captain team were Roger Bryant & Robert Tigg with 44pts.


  

The Captain pro challenge list is getting pretty full as are the team matches which is good to see.

The sheet for the Captain/Pro challenge is now up on the board in the spike bar. If you fancy giving us a challenge, get your names down on the sheet.

The Ladies have the return match in their Taskers cup on Sunday the 17th they have a bit of a job on their hands as they lost 2 - 5 in the away game at Sherwood but we know they can pull it back here at Stanton best of luck ladies.

The Ladies "get into the swing" coaching programme is proving to be a hit with the ladies we are getting lots signing up to the programme. 

The Junior coaching starts this Sunday with all of the available slots taken up.
