Saturday saw the Earnest Gray foursomes being played, it was very dissapointing to see such a low turn out in this event, maybe it's the format that put people off? Well done to Phillip Raven and Mark Thompson who won with a great nett 70.0, Dan Limon and John Jenkins shot the lowest gross round of the day with a 77. Two's payed out £50 a pair, £25 each, so well worth the £1.50 for these guys.
We also had a bank holiday compeition on Monday which was well supported, Jane Harby and Angus Gray won the mixed division with a great score of 46 points, Janet and Harry Robinson came second with 43 with Scott Hamilton and Lauren Spray finishing third on 42. Andy Smith and Rich Drury won the Gents with 44 from Stuart Horne and Ranjit Bhabra who beat Paul Fletcher and Sam Horsley on countback with 43 points.
The senior's season is now well under way, and this week they beat Radcliffe on Trent 6-2 at home, but unfortunately lost 6-2 to Scraptoft away, hopefully they can get back to winning in their next match against Wollaton at home on Monday.
Henry has been away golfing a few times playing in the Eagle Tour a couple of weeks ago which had a fixture at Walmley Golf Club in Sutton Coldfield where he finished 5th, then at Lindrick last week shooting 73, so well done to him.

Looking ahead on the course we have the Charity Cup on Saturday, the Presidents Jubilee on Sunday, the Senior's are at home to Wollaton on Monday and the Scratch team are away at Rushcliffe.
