Club Championship & Extra Medal
Unfortunately due to horrendous weather for a period on Saturday morning the decision to abandon the two competitions was taken, the early morning starters only managing to get as far as the 10th hole before the decision was made to call play. A decision will be made over the next week as to when the competitions can be replayed. Let's all hope for better weather!!
Ladies results
Congratulations to Pam Kissman who was the winner of the Silver Medal Final played on the 5th July The Ladies 1937 Cup Foursomes was won by Mary Lund & Jan Hooley with a nett score of 75.
The Runners up were Sandra Bradley & Chris Baugh with a nett score of 76.5.
Stanton's Best Putter
The best putter competition is still running until this Saturday, it is £1 a go and you are entitled to 1 go per day. The top 15 scores will qualify for the final which will be played on Stanton's main greens on Friday 22nd of July. Best of luck to all who enter….

Finally the Captain Nigel and myself had our latest challenge match this week against Gren Wills and Peter Gauntley we had an enjoyable match where both sides were up during the match and in the end we managed to win 2 & 1. Thanks for the game guys.
