Winter Rules

As of now we have commenced winter rules with preferred lies in place on fairways or any closely mown areas, the use of a matt is also compulsory from any tee where the player intends to use an iron. Therefore the use of matts on fairways and carrying is encouraged but as yet not compulsory. Please also be aware of the roped off areas and try not to take buggies/trollies inside these areas.

On Going Course Work 

Carrying on from last week there is a possibility of either a couple of hole closures or temporary greens while maintenance is being done, this week we have seen the greens being aired and drainage work being done, there is a good chance this could follow on to next week.


 

Presentation day went very well on Sunday with a full house. Most winners made the effort to attend and had an enjoyable half an hour basking in the glory. Good to see the bar and the restaurant busy also. 

Nigel and I had our latest challenge on Sunday against Rob and Dan Clegg . It was a very pleasant Morning and the golf was pretty close to start with but we seemed to get the breaks and the putts dropped for us and we managed a win. Thanks for the game guys.
