Saturday was another brilliant day, the sun was shining with very little wind. The pro comp took place with a great turn out. Division 1 was won by D Pipes and R Hall with 44 points, and Division 2 was won by J Sowter and R Maltby with a disgraceful score of 47 points. Next Saturday is Norman and Helenas farwell evening, and I think about 90 + tickets have been sold. There are still a few left if you fancy coming along to support your two Captains.

Norman and I played our latest challenge match last Sunday after coming out of our Winter hibernation. I was a little ring rusty, but our opponents Phill Norris and Paul Jacklin both played some excellent golf and beat us 3&2 so well played guys.

The next date for your diary is the Captains drive in on March the 23rd. There is a sweep to guess the distance of the drives, and all money raised is for the Captains' nominated charities. Then there will be a five hole fun competition, and food and drinks afterwards.
