Welcome to the latest edition to Stanton on the Wolds GC weekly newsletter. We hope that you're having a good week on and off the golf course.

It’s been a quiet week due to the unfortunate weather conditions with the heavy amount of snow. The course has held up well and will still be in great condition when all of the snow has melted and its back on the greens instead of the winter greens.

Never the less we have still had the shop open for business as usual, in the shop this week we have had new Callaway bag towels come in ready to replace your old winter ones.

Get a grip!

Pro's Comp Order of Merit

Here is the current standings from the order of merit for the Nick Hernon Pro Comps, it’s very tight at the top and well done to all those who are competing. It’s the final comp on Saturday so it’s up for grabs.

Ladies' 17 hole Stableford Competition

The results of the Ladies’ 17 Hole Stableford Competition played on Tuesday 6th March are as follows:

Winners:

3rd Division: Sue Manley - 28 points.
Bronze Division: Julia Furlonger - 27 points.
Silver Division: Jan Hooley - 26 points.

The winner of the 9 Hole Stableford Competition was Trish Annesley.
