Hello Golfers, Well the snow is gone and we enjoyed being back on the course, and it is starting at long last to feel like spring. Unfortunately, Dan the Head Greenkeeper wasn’t playing very well this week so he decided to close the course on Saturday thus cancelling the last Pro’s Comp, so it gave him another week of practise so he stands a chance of winning the last one! On a serious note, we will be playing the cancelled Pro’s Comp this Saturday, using the same start for last week. Enjoy the read. |
Rogue irons Callaway have launched their latest iron Rogue, we have two demo irons in the shop one steel shaft and on graphite shaft. So come in and give them a try. The Rogue iron models use elastic-urethane to reduce vibrations without compromising the fast ball speeds they produce, which gives you a great combination of distance and feel. The Rogue iron has some great features and benefits and some are listed below: |
|
- Rogue irons combine 360 Face Cups with Variable Face Thickness
- 360 Face Cup with thinner edges boosts distance on off-centre hits
- Variable Face Thickness helps the face flex for more distance
- Precise tungsten weighting aids optimum launch and control in each loft
- Lower CG in longer irons helps higher launch for longer carries
- Higher CG gives short irons added control and workability
- More workable Rogue Pro iron available with smaller head and less offset
- Lighter, more forgiving and longer Rogue X iron also available
