This weekend we had the first pro comp of the year which was greatly supported which meant the winners won £25 each, £15 for second and £10 for third.
Steve Burnside and L Ross won the first division with 42 points on countback from Adam Randall and Phil Noble. Ian Pacey and Pete Rudd were third with 41 points.
In the second Division Richard Holling and Adam Lockwood were first with 43 points, John Sowter and Mark Wells were second with 42 points and Terry Chesire and Ian Graham claimed third with 41.
Sarah Hernon and Cathy Burnside won the ladies section with 35 points and collected £10 each.
Well done to all the prize winners, our next competition is on the 22nd of this month.

In the Ladies EG medal last week, Gill Eaton won the first division with a nett 73. Jane Gilmore won the second division with a nett 72, and Vera David took the third division with a nett 78, well done.
Congratulations go to Georgia Viggers who has won the Notts junior girls nett order of merit for this year.

The race night was well supported on Saturday evening with 80 people attending. Despite my best efforts over the 7 races, I was not even close to backing a winner, but the fish & chips and company were good.
