Finally summer is here the weather has improved dramatically this last week, the sun has been shining and the course is starting to take shape. Lots of you have taken this opportunity to get out there and play your knock out matches, reports of lots of close matches has been great to see.
Saturday saw the April Medal and Cripps Cup qualifying take place, a few showers throughout the day made the course play a little tougher.
Dave Clarke won division 1 with a nett 69 this brings his handicap down from 10 to 9 so well done Dave.
Division 2 was won by S Brown with a nett 70.
Division 3 was won by a very shy man known a Stuart Walker who managed shoot a nett 70 this also saw his handicap come down a shot, well done Stuart.
James Maclachlan won the best gross with 75.
Well done to all prize winners, great effort.
Within this last week the seniors have had two matches, one at home and one away. Firstly at Scraptoft where they were beaten 5 ½- 2 ½ and secondly at home to Radcliffe where they were also beaten 3-5.
The Mixed team also played at Glen Gorse in Leicestershire where they unfortunately lost also.

Sunday, 3 May - The juniors are taking on the Nottinghamshire, the tee is booked 1-1:45pm for this.
Monday, 4 May - Is the bank holiday competition, the start sheet is now up so get yourself entered.
Thursday, 7 May - There's a combined team match against Chillwell at 4pm.
Finally we have two demo days coming up on May the 14th with Mizuno here and on May the 20th with Callaway, so if you would like an appointment we still have some times available.
