A current member beats his age with his gross score what an achievement!!! 

Last week there was an error in one of the scores we listed. Keith Whitehead beat his age with a fabulous gross score of 75 nett 67. 


 

Great news for the scratch team! 

Stanton's scratch team beat Radcliffe on Trent on Monday to secure 1st position in division 2. This gets them promoted back into division 1, well done Andy Cook and his team. 


Monthly Medal and Scratch Finals

Saturday saw the Monthly Medal and Scratch Finals being played. The weather conditions were perfect making scoring easier than usual, with great scores coming in throughout the day. 

Division 1 was won by Dan Limon (72-5-67), this also was the best gross score. 
Division 2 was won with another good score (80-13-67) by Stuart Horne. 
In division 3 the bandit, Geoff Salt, won with a tremendous nett 65! 

Well done Dan, Stuart and Geoff, great golf to achieve those scores. 


Bank Holiday Competition

Monday was the Bank Holiday competition, we had a great entry on the start sheet with 40 teams taking part which is great to see on a bank holiday. Unfortunately the weather was terrible with heavy rain all day, this resulted in a lot of teams pulling out of the competition.
