Saturday saw the Autumn Cup being played. James Mounser was on form with 42 points off 2 handicap which secured the win for him. Dan Limon kept his form up and came 2nd with a great score of 41 points off a 5 handicap. Bob Eaton also managed 41points which put him in 3rd place. 

Well done to the Notts ladies county team who won the national finals at Frilford Heath golf club last week, the first time they have won this event. I'm pleased to report there was a good representation from Stanton in the shape of Esme Hamilton and Emma Howie and ex member Lauren Spray.


 

A bit of disappointing news now, on Thursday afternoon/evening a member left the chipping green covered in divots. We are very proud of our facilities here at Stanton, so our greens staff as well as the rest of our golfers are all adversely affected by this.

In future, we have divot bags ready to be used, so in future we would appreciate all divots being filled in. If you are unsure on how to do this, please come and have a chat with us in the pro shop, and we will be more than happy to help out!
