Saturday saw the end of the month medal being played, which saw Alan Cairns add another win to his growing list of successes. Alan shot 79 off an 11 handicap for a nett score of 68. 

Division 2 was again won with a nett 68 from Paul Sturtivant playing off 18. John Kingsley had a good round completing a nett 70 to win division 3. Lowest Gross of the day was Sam Horsley who had a brilliant gross 69. 

Well done to all prize winners.

We are pleased to welcome Mark Taylor to the Pro Shop team here at Stanton. Mark is a fully qualified class A Professional and joins us from Edwalton Golf Club where he was the coaching Professional, having previously worked at Ruddington Grange. He is looking forward to being back working in a lively pro shop where he can enjoy interacting with members and visitors.

Mark is a well respected golf coach whose expertise is bound to help members and visitors. He's also active in encouraging juniors, ladies and families together to take up the game of golf.
