Dawn Patrol
This Saturday saw the Dawn Patrol being played. This is the early morning competition which is a shot gun start at 6am! John Jenkins seems to be a specialist at this competition as he won it for the 2nd year running with 39 points!
Ladies Watson Trophy
Ladies results this week are as follows: Watson Trophy 1st Chris Afacan & Bridgett Patrick 39 points and 2nd Trish Annesley & Julia Furlonger with 39 points.
PING Qualifier
In the PING qualifier Jackie Gauntley & Alison Braithwate won with 36 points ahead of 2nd placed pair of Jane Harby & Gill Eaton also on 36 points. Well done to all the winners and qualifiers. We will let you know how they get on later in the season.
Mens Interclub
The Interclub foursomes mens team played Retford at Notts on Monday evening and I'm glad to report that Stanton won 3 up.
Tom and Henry both have Golf next week. Tom is playing in the Open Championship qualifier and Henry is playing in a midlands event. Best of luck to both representing our club!
Looking ahead we have the Seniors Open on the 25th. This is one of the big open competitions that is played here at Stanton. Please be aware that the tee is reserved 8am till 3pm.
