Hello everyone. I hope you're not missing your golf too much! The weather has not been great so perhaps you wouldn't have been playing last week anyway!

Sarah and I have been out for a few walks this week to get our daily exercise, and you know what they say about golf being a good walk, spoiled?! No problems there!

Although we are still closed apart from click and collect etc we are now starting to take names for club/driver fittings etc for when we are able to resume this service. Success at the final hurdle

Chris Kirk showed us how golf is more than just a sport at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

The multiple-time winner had to walk away from a successful golf career in 2019 due to mental health struggles and alcoholism, getting himself on the road to recovery. The PGA Tour gave him a chance to regain his full status over a limited number of events, culminating at the Sony Open, where he needed at least a two-way tie for third to secure his card for the 2021 season.

Well, an outstanding birdie on the 72nd hole left him in a two-way tie for second for one of the most heart-warming comeback stories imaginable. Not only that but it's also a great example of making sure you keep going right until the very last hole.
