9 Hole Stableford

Last Wednesday was the 2nd 9 hole stableford of the year. Yet again this was very well supported which is great news for the club. Brian Viggers won this with 22 points on count back over Jeff Haywood.

3 Club Plus Putter Challenge 

Friday saw the 3 club plus putter challenge take place. This was over 9 holes this year and participation was dramatically increased which was really good. We had an entry of 69 of which a majority stayed after for the presentation and 175 club. This was a great step in the right direction for the club.

The Dawn Patrol

The Dawn patrol was played on Saturday. This is the competition that is a shotgun start at the very early time of 6am. 

James Robson shot the best score of the day with an incredible 48 points, this included a blob on the scorecard as well!!! (the lessons are paying off). Unfortunately Jim wasn't 1st as he had a non competitive handicap, but well played Jim. 

Chris Blainey was the overall winner with 39 points beating Mark Wells and Phil Norris on count back. Terry Linley recorded his first ever hole in 1 on the 2nd hole, well done Terry and Chris.
