Saturday was Harry's Captain's Day, this was the most popular competition of the year with no times at all available on the start sheet. 

This year it was an unusual format of better ball stableford on the front 9 and then on the back 9 pairs Texas Scramble. 

Also on the 10th tee there was a beat the pro challenge which Tom and Richard kindly gave up their time to help the club out, this helped raise over £450. 

Maurice Hume and Barry Dawson came out on top with 45 points which saw them take the overall winners position. 

Division 1 was won by Dan Limon and John Jenkins with 45 points and division 2 was won by Gordon Hackett and Dave Button again with 45 points. 

The ladies 9 hole stableford was won by Ellen Manton with 19 points. 

Well done to all prize winners. 

Thanks for everyone's support, the day raised over £1500 which is an amazing achievement, thanks to everyone who donated a prize to the raffle.

Lady Captain's Day 

This was played last Tuesday and the weather was perfect for Margaret which was nice for her. The ladies played a fun format of a qualifying stableford. Yet again Ellen Manton won division 1 with 39 points. I think the handicap committee needs to sort her handicap out! 

Division 2 was won by Sarah Hernon with 36 points. 

Lauren Selby did the best score of the day to win division 3 with a brilliant 41 points. 

Well done all prize winners.
