Hello golfers, 

 

Jubilee Cup - Saturday 5th September

Saturday saw the Jubilee Cup being played, the format for this competition was a Bogey. This is where you either win, loose or half each hole against the course. Steve Thomas came out on top with a brilliant score of 5up, yet again Steve in the prizes! Antony Collings came 2nd with 4 up which was a great score with only 2 shot holes. Dave Clake, Tim Chapman and Pete Screaton also managed 4up. Still good to see great participation in these competitions even this late on in the season. Getting over 150 players each competition is great for the club. 

Mixed Team - Sunday 7th September

Sunday the mixed team had a match away at Radcliffe on Trent. The weather was superb and the match was thoroughly enjoyed by both teams, unfortunately the opposition were too strong and beat us 4.5 to 3.5. 

Through the week 

This week we have the Thursday Medal and on Saturday we have the Autumn Invitation Shotgun Start at 9am. Also on Saturday we have the H R Hilton Trophy, which is a Mixed Foursomes Medal. 

Let's hope the cold weather doesn't come to soon.
